Definition: Stored in an object, The ability to move something.

Different kinds of energy:

Light Energy

(the energy to move electromagnetic waves. Found in microwaves, x-rays and visible light)

Flashlight, Lightbulb

Heat energy

(caused by the movement of particles. Found in all hot objects)

Stove, oven

Sound energy

(energy produced by vibrating objects. Examples are speech, ultrasound and music)

Talking, Speakers

Chemical potential energy

(energy stored in the bonds between particles. Found in substances like petrol and food)

Batterys, Cars

Electrical Energy

(the movement of electrically charge particles. Found in wires, generators and lighting)

Computers, Cellphones

Gravitational potential energy

(energy stored in objects due to their height above the ground)

Astroids, Rockets

Kinetic energy

(energy due to the motion of an object. Eg. Moving cars, running and swimming)

Biking, walking

Elastic potential energy
(energy stored in stretched or squashed objects. Examples are springs and rubber bands)

The black death-Social Studies

 Fleas and rats spread the black death. Firstly the rat had the black plague because they got bitten by the Fleas because the fleas vomited inside the rat and then the flea bit humans and then it vomited the blood inside you to create the black death. This shows how easy it is to spread the black death throughout Europe. Once humans caught the black death they showed a series of symptoms.

Stir fry- Cooking

Last week we made stir fry for cooking, my group is Mya, Kalea, Nature and me. We put in sesame oil, Broccoli, cauliflower, Soy sauce, Salt, Pepper, Cabbage and Chicken, It was really good to eat but I got food poisoning from it because I didn't cook the chicken properly  so my whole group got food poisoning So I don't trust myself to cook chicken again, anyway, We cooked it then ate it it was good but I felt sick after it.

I enjoyed cooking it and I would cook it again, the sesame oil smelt disgusting I enjoyed cooking thanks for reading byeeeee

Social Studies- The black death

What was life like in the middle ages? Interestingly, it depends if you are poor or rich. For example rich people got nice things and poor people got nothing. The rich and poor had rats and poo and rubbish in their house. It was disgusting in the middle ages because of the black death and everything that was lying on the ground, no one wanted to live in the middle ages because of all the disgusting things that were there. Itś one of the reasons why the black death spread through Europe.
