Animal adaption.

We have been looking at animal adaptions and how they help them survive in the wild.
I made a clay model of a giraffes neck for my adaption. I also  found some information about it.
The giraffes neck is 1.5-1.8 meters long
A giraffes habitat is in the African savannah.

The worst lunch day ever. (First Draft)

It was a beautiful day in the African Savannah. I did not want to migrate with the herd because It scares me.
And my mum and dad almost got eaten alive and I got  but I was lucky my dad saved me . The crocodile and the lions played tug of war with me and it was scary. Because  they are my enemies!

I  was taking a walk along the river bank when I saw my dad stop in his tracks. He roared to tell the herd to run. But I was slow  the lions caught me and I fell in the warm slimy  water and it was scary for me. And I could taste the yuck dirty water. I could hear  the herd of buffalos.
And the crocodile and the lions had a tug of war with me. The crocodile sunk its massive teeth into my tail it felt very very sore. I did not like it. It was scary for me. And I smelt yucky like the lion's breath.

I was saved by the herd of buffalos and I was scared. I did not like it. And I wish to see you again and fight once. I was happy and sore when I went back to the herd.
